Looking up at a starry night sky is mesmerizing
Looking up at the moon is beautiful
Looking down at the ground from sky is so small
Looking at us, we are so small.
Finding all that we know is so small
What makes us who we are, confused
We are all confused.
But if we were to be a star
We’d know what to do,
Do what we were meant to do
Be a star.
But we are so small and so easily confused
That it’s nearly impossible,
To be who we are if we can’t understand ourselves
But, we understand each other.
Stars don’t understand each other
They know what to do
Be themselves, so
Be a star in the night sky.
Be a starlight
In another’s eye.
