Monologue: Success

The key to success is not a number,
Not of finance, not of skill and ability,
And not for need, but for want.
A want so strong its priority is that of a need.
It is the deeds that fortify us as a human, a mortal,
And makes us a different person in the end.
The necessity of the want is what guides us to success,
And the desire to improve one’s self will encourage a journey within the soul,
To see the bonds,
Broken and unbroken.
True success comes not from repairing these bonds,
But from replacing them with a bond as powerful as God.
Thus, it is those which compose of the success of man.
