when i was a younger child,

i used to love to put puzzles together.

the way that each of the pieces

naturally fit into the other,

was soothing.

there was never

a need

to force any piece

into another

because there was always

the truth

that even if the one i had

did not fit

there will be one

that does.

although i hadn’t found it,

it did not mean it did not exist.

that it was mine

solely to find,

and to conquer.

the only thing

that i was truly missing,

was patience.
