Dear Younger Me.

By: Kiersten Lupinek

Dear younger me.

This isn’t your fault.

I promise.

Look at it, take away the vile, the comments, the hatred, and look at you my darling.

Dear younger me.

People leave.

They do.

Look beyond them, to something more, something greater, something lovely, look at His plan my lovely.

Dear younger me.

You are good.

I swear.

He made you good, perfect, beautiful, though His son, you’re His child.

Dear younger me.

You’re not alone.

You’re not.

Don’t put your trust in people, fiction, or facts, look to what He says to you my dear.

Dear younger me.

It’s going to be hard.

I know.

But keep pushing though, you’ll make it, you’ll thrive, I did, my warrior.

Dear younger me.

It’s going to be okay.

Wait for tomorrow.

Watch the sunset, watch flowers fade, watch as you grow into someone you love in the mirror, my beautiful.

Dear younger me.

It’s nice to meet you.

I’ve been waiting.

Take my hand, let me take the lead and guide you, I care for you, and so does He sweetheart.

Dear younger me.
